The figure in pink is me—if you look closely, it’s the tattoos on my calves that give me away.

This was on a warm sunny day this week, when BP’s Momma and I wandered around SLO. We checked out the mission, as well as an art museum and two brew houses. Did you know California has the stupidest rules about filling growlers? Apparently you can only get one filled if it bears the logo of the place you’re at. This year, the governor signed some legislation that could change that, but it doesn’t seem to be active. Anyway…

Palm trees already seem weird to me—like props from a movie, so this super large one was astounding! I didn’t know they grew so large!

Today I only ventured so far as the beach, and then came home to cook and listen to more commentaries. Tomorrow I’ve planned a sushi lunch, as well as a real grocery trip and a quick stop for a future blog post. I really want to put more time into blogging before I secure some employment. Same goes for theatre and painting.
